The ZCQ Self-Priming Magnetic Drive Pump replaces dynamic seals with static ones, fully sealing fluid-carrying components to eliminate leakage. Constructed from stainless steel, corundum ceramic, and PTFE graphite, it resists corrosion. Combining CQ-type functionality with self-priming, it requires no foot valve or priming water, achieving 4m self-priming height.

Work Principle

The ZCQ self-priming magnetic pump features an external-mixing axial reflux structure, comprising a suction chamber, liquid storage chamber, volute, reflux hole, and gas-liquid separator (see Fig. 1). When started, centrifugal force agitates residual liquid in the suction chamber with inlet air to form a gas-water mixture, which enters the separator via the volute. As velocity drops, gas and liquid separate: air exits through the outlet, while liquid returns via the reflux hole. After multiple cycles, inlet air is expelled, creating internal vacuum for self-priming.

Installation

1.After unpacking, inspect the pump nameplate and verify that the main parameters of the self-priming pump match the operational requirements.

2.Install the self-priming pump horizontally; the pump body must not bear the weight of the pipeline.

3.Ensure good sealing between the pump and pipelines.

4.Before use, check that the motor fan blades rotate flexibly without jamming or abnormal noise, and ensure all fasteners are secure.

5.Unscrew the water filling bolt above the pump, add liquid storage water up to less than two-thirds of the pump body volume, then tighten the bolt.

6.Connect the power supply and test-run the pump. When viewed from the motor end, confirm the rotation direction matches the marking on the pump.

7.Before stopping the pump, first close the discharge valve, then cut off the power supply, and finally close the suction pipe valve.
