Forged steel ball valves have two design types. One is a two-piece structure with middle threaded connection and sealed by PTFE gasket; the other is a three-piece structure bolted at the middle. Depending on the selected materials of valve seats, gaskets/packing, they are suitable for different working temperatures and media.
